Biography
Mr. Hoffman is a cum laude graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law,
where he was also an editor of the BUFFALO LAW REVIEW. He was formerly
affiliated with LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP. At LeBoeuf, Mr. Hoffman
worked on general commercial and intellectual property litigation before federal,
state and foreign courts, and arbitration panels. He is experienced in litigating
intellectual property matters including copyright infringement, patent
infringement and patent licensing.
Mr. Hoffman has experience in a broad range of litigation. General commercial
matters ranged from representation of a fashion model against her former
managers, to complex multijurisdictional litigation involving international disputes.
Prior to law school, Mr. Hoffman pursued a career in chemistry. Mr. Hoffman
holds a B.S. in chemistry from Clarkson University and attended graduate school
in chemistry at Louisiana State University. In chemistry, he co-authored
peer-reviewed research papers. He also held positions at a prominent
environmental analysis firm and at a major research and production facility of E.I.
du Pont de Nemours & Co.
Mr. Hoffman is currently practicing in the areas of litigation, ADR and intellectual
property.
Mr. Hoffman is admitted to practice in New York State.
